The Natural History Museum Picture Library looks after more than 50,000 natural history images built around the Museum’s world class collections, iconic architecture and the pioneering research of our scientists.
Through the Picture Library website you can access a collection of rights managed images primarily intended for image buying professionals. We license images commercially for books, newspapers, magazines, advertising, websites and all other media.
Our images cover a broad range subject areas, including some of the 70 million specimens housed in the Museum and a wide range of natural history, environment and conservation images from some of the best specialist photographers, illustrators and suppliers in the world.
